Welcome to Outside Tribe Forest Pre School / Kindergarten and Forest School. A place where children’s happiness is at the centre of all we do. Where adventures in nature grow happy, curious and creative young minds. A place where play takes centre stage and children lead the way. A place for Wildly Adventurous Learning!
We are a small Forest Pre School / Kindergarten that offers OFSTED Registered Childcare and Education for children aged 2 years 6 months to 6 years. We run a parent and toddler group and also welcome older Home Educated / Flexi educated children. Our holiday clubs are open to children aged 5 – 11 years old.
More and more research is showing that time in nature, combined with a play-based, hands on approach, has huge benefits for children. Language skills, social and physical development, confidence, resilience, emotional well being are all enhanced through the rich environment and experiences the outdoors can offer.
Tucked away in a valley near the sea, our site is a truly special place. With orchard, meadow and woodland, there is plenty of space to run, climb and explore. With our own private path to the beach, and a cosy wooden cabin to snuggle in, there couldn’t be a more perfect place to be a child (or grown up for that matter!). Our ‘classroom’ is the great outdoors – ever changing, and never boring!
