Our fantastic Home -Ed ‘drop off’ group runs each Wednesday from 9.30 – 2.30 and is open to children aged 5-7/8. The session is led by Kate, an experienced Forest School leader. We have links with Miss Elvy’s Curious School of the Wild who offers a home ed session for older children (8+) at 10 Acre Wood in Wadebridge.
Each half term involves a loose theme that weaves forest school experiences with elements of the arts and science (and much more besides!) – all outdoors using our beautiful orchard site and our fabulous local beach which is a short walk away through our private path from site.
Each session also involves campfire cooking and lots of time for play, exploration and developing friendships and interests.
As the session runs at the same time as our pre school/kindergarten, parents can use us to care for their younger children too, and our home educated kindergarten children have the chance to move on to our home ed group when they are older, giving them even more Outside Tribe time when they are ready to move on!
Sessions are £25. As we are OFSTED registered, government support can help towards the costs of the sessions either through Tax Credits / Universal Credits (up to 85% of costs), or Tax Free Childcare (20% of costs and available to all families).
